Thank you, February!
Whew! What a whirlwind of a month it's been. February swept me up in a flurry of activity, from my involvement in facilitating and supporting the University of Notre Dame Virtual Black Domer Series to the honor of delivering a keynote address at the "Our Futures" banquet. This month has truly been a catalyst for rejuvenation, reinvigorating my spirit and passion for my work.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of my professional engagements, I found solace in reconnecting with my community and carving out moments for deep reflection. As an educator deeply committed to the pursuit of knowledge, I often emphasize the importance of continuous learning. In February, I had the invaluable opportunity to replenish my own well of inspiration and insight.
Throughout the month, I dedicated time to writing, allowing my thoughts to flow freely onto the page. These moments of introspection served as poignant reminders of the legacy I am part of and whose shoulders I stand upon. It was a time of profound gratitude for those who have paved the way before me and a reaffirmation of my responsibility to honor their legacy through my own contributions.

In doing so, I found myself attuned to the whispers of my inner voice and the guidance of my spiritual compass. This period of introspection was instrumental in realigning my priorities and reaffirming my commitment to living authentically and with purpose.
As February draws to a close, I find myself brimming with anticipation for the month ahead. Armed with the lessons and insights gleaned from the past few weeks, I am eager to charge into March with renewed vigor and determination. I am committed to sharing my knowledge and expertise with others, leading with compassion, and serving as a tireless advocate for educational equity, access, and opportunity.
With each passing day, I am reminded of the immense privilege and responsibility that comes with the work that I do. As I embark on the journey ahead, I am filled with gratitude for the experiences and connections that February has bestowed upon me. Here's to the adventures that await in the days and weeks to come.
